From surf rock guitars to rockabilly vocals, this lightning-fast, single-repeat echo is almost impossible to hear without being transported to the days of malt shops, hulking Chevrolets, and leather jacketed rebels.

While slapback delay algorithms can result in harsh high end frequencies, Slappy employs the same hysteresis saturation used in our Bad Tape and Bad Tape 2 plugins. The end result is a smooth, warm delay that is as musical as it is nostalgic.
